- Your photos never leave your device. The preview at keepbound.ca/try works entirely in your browser.
- If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address to tell you about Keepbound. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we are
Keepbound is a photobook service being built in Canada. For anything about your information, email hello@keepbound.ca.
The waitlist
When you join the waitlist we collect:
- your email address;
- where you signed up (the home page or the preview);
- when you signed up and that you ticked the consent box.
We use these only to email you about Keepbound: the launch, occasional product news and invitations to give feedback. We keep the record of your consent so we can show you agreed to hear from us, as Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL) requires.
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. To have your details deleted entirely, email us at the address above.
Our email provider is Loops (loops.so), which stores the waitlist for us and sends our emails. Loops may store and process this information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
Your photos in the preview
The preview reads, analyses and lays out your photos in your browser. They are not uploaded to us or anyone else, and we can’t see them.
So you don’t lose your work if you reload the page, resized copies of your photos and your book are saved in your browser’s own storage on your device. Choose Start over in the preview, or clear your browser’s site data, to remove them.
The optional sample trip downloads example photos from picsum.photos.
Visiting the website
We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Like any website, the services that deliver these pages see your IP address and basic browser details when you visit:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps short-term logs for security and reliability;
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr deliver the fonts and scripts the pages use;
- picsum.photos serves the example photos shown on the home page.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@keepbound.ca. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page and the date above. If the change is significant, we’ll email waitlist members before it takes effect.
